CAMIG Association was founded on the 5th of September 2015. It was given a legal status in the Republic of Cameroon on the 11th of August 2016 by Authorization No. 15/E.29/1111/Vol.8/ALPAS. The Association is the fruit of two online capacity building courses; Internet Governance in Africa, an Introduction organized Nepad e- Africa and Children and Mobile Technology sponsored by GSMA. Both courses were hosted by DiploFoundation. After participating in these two courses , the president and founder, Foncham Denis Doh, being very passionate about the cyber space, acquired valuable skills and equally identified the need for such an organization to be created, so as to contribute in shaping the future of internet and children in Cameroon.
